Trinity College Dublin start-up secures investment for its VR and AR hologram technology

A startup from Trinity College Dublin has secured its first seed investment of €600,000 (over $692K US) to develop and commercialize a hologram technology for the virtual reality industry. Volograms is creating a way to take a set of videos captured from different viewpoints and turn them into volumetric holograms that can be implemented in virtual and augmented reality environments.
